Introducing Sons of Thunder: A New Men’s Discipleship Ministry
We’re excited to announce the launch of a bold new ministry for men at Faith Community Church—Sons of Thunder.
 
Named after the nickname Jesus gave to James and John—two passionate, fiery, and faithful disciples—this new group will be a place where men of all ages can connect, grow, and pursue God together. Like those early followers, we believe God is calling men today to live with courage, conviction, and Kingdom impact.
 
And we’re kicking things off with something simple and meaningful:

Join us for burgers hot off the grill, good conversation, and a chance to hear the vision for Sons of Thunder.
No pressure. No pretending. Just a place for men to connect and grow.
 
This first gathering is open to all men—whether you’ve been in church your whole life or you’re just checking things out. Whether you’re 18 or 80, single or married, a lifelong believer or new to faith—you’re invited.
 
Come hungry. Come curious. Come ready to find your place.
 
We believe that when men pursue Christ together, families are strengthened, faith deepens, and communities change. And it all starts with a burger and a conversation.
